When the NBA reached the halfway mark in late January, Jason Kidd was in New Jersey, Shaquille O'Neal was in Miami, Pau Gasol was in Memphis, Kurt Thomas was in Seattle and one quarter of the Cleveland Cavaliers' current game-night roster was somewhere else.

And lest we forget that Sam Cassell, Bonzi Wells, Mike James, Bobby Jackson, Mike Bibby, Jamaal Magloire, Damon Stoudamire and Tyronn Lue were in uniforms that would soon be confiscated.

P.J. Brown had spent all season at home resting. And when Brent Barry was traded to Seattle, he never left his home in San Antonio. Waived by the Sonics, Barry will soon re-sign with the Spurs. Read more
